Angela has over 22 years of experience in public health in India and internationally. She is a Partner at the Catalyst Group of organizations and the CEO-in-waiting at Swasti and leads the health response of COVIDActionCollab. From evaluation of several countries’ national HIV programs, to research, capacity building and knowledge management, Angela works closely with governments, civil society, community groups and corporations. She has globally co-designed interventions and helped raise more than 1.3 Billion USD for TB, HIV, Malaria for 12 countries, and she continues to support governments with poor health outcomes, to help strengthen their systems of information, human resource management, program design and planning.

Dr. Varsha is a scientist-entrepreneur with a focus on public health. She is the Chief Enabling Officer and Co-founder of Molecular Solutions Care Health, LLP. She is a crusader for respectful and accessible health care. Since 2020, the focus of her lab has expanded to disease monitoring, particularly of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, using data from environmental, clinical and community sources. Her company is the recipient of multiple grants, including the Amrit Grand Challenges JanCare grant for AMR monitoring by BIRAC and the Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG). She was among 75 Top Women Biotech Entrepreneurs recognized by the Government of India. She was also selected to the Goldman Sachs 10000 Women Entrepreneurs Program at IIM Bangalore. She is a certified NABL Internal Auditor and Certified Assessor for Malcolm Baldrige Healthcare Criteria for Performance Excellence and trained at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Dr. Tavpritesh Sethi is a physician-scientist and Associate Professor of Computational Biology at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi, India. He is the founding head of the Center of Excellence in Healthcare at IIIT-Delhi.

Dr. Rakesh Mishra is the Director of Tata Institute for Genetics and Society, Bangalore. His research interests are comparative genomics of non-coding DNA in the context of evolution of complexity, genetic basis of anterior-posterior body axis formation in animals and role of epigenetic regulation in development.

Dr. Kayla Laserson SM, ScD is the Gates Foundation India Country Office Deputy Director for Infectious Diseases and Vaccine Delivery. Her focus areas include TB, visceral leishmania, lymphatic filariasis and vaccine delivery.

Founder of Microvioma (Pvt) Ltd, India, a research-based organization founded on verified science to participate in the fight against AMR & WHO’s One Health mission by providing microbiology-based solutions & products. He is AMR stewardship champion and has served as a member of the AMR Committee of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (USA) for three years and is a member of its research committee. Previously, he co-invented the anti-infective molecule Enmetazobactam at Orchid Pharma.
